My blogger days are now caught up to the real days! :) I saw this really cute idea on the Hello!Lucky Blog and wanted to make them because I thought they'd be cute on our kind of boring front porch. We haven't decided if we want to do some gardening and spruce it up a bit; maybe after the winter season. Anyways, these little guys would look great on Halloween night! Hello!Lucky has a free PDF file you can download to cut out and make the skulls, but I was too lazy. ;) I'm sure there's a way to to turn a PDF file to a cut file, but I still have a lot of learning to do on my Silhouette Cameo. So I decided to get a skull cut file and just edit it to make it more cutesy and how I liked it.
I used the Skull & Crossbones cut file, but edited the eyes and added a heart nose (from the Love You Card cut file). I cut out a bunch and glued skewers to the backs. I decided to add a piece of washi tape to the back to just give it some extra stability. Since these are made of paper, I'm not going to leave them up and I'll put them back out Halloween day!
Such an easy craft, don't you think?
