Since Jonny was exempt from making ornaments with me this year, he gets the credit of making the other half of our Christmas Goodie Bags for family. We thought it would be a fun idea to make homemade vanilla! We followed the recipe from Our Best Bites using a big bottle of vodka from Costco. The vanilla beans and bottles are from Amazon.
Since it was homemade, we wanted to put a simple logo on it and we created this on my Silhouette Designer program, printed them out on a kraft sticker sheet and used my Silhouette to cut them out! We put the stickers on the bottles and they look super cute. Jonny is already brainstorming ideas for next year.
We packaged up the vanilla and the snowflake ornament into a muslin bag that I decorated using Lawn Fawn stamps and Memento inks. I stamped “Merry Christmas” in red and then did random stamping of snowflakes in different color blues.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas yesterday! We had lots of fun with our family and we enjoyed watching our family open our gifts. We love gift giving!
