Since it's awards season, the latest Iron Craft Challenge was to craft an item inspired by a movie or television show - or something that you would wear on the red carpet. Now, the movie that I used as inspiration was not nominated for... Well. Anything, I think. Maybe when MTV or People's Choice comes around... ;)
I seriously LOVE the movie Pitch Perfect. It was funny, romantic, ridiculous & I pretty much laughed the whole time. One of my favorite parts about the movie was character Aubrey kept saying things with "Acca" in front of them. Like, "Acca-Excuse me?" Which in turn character Fat Amy made fun of her for with phrases like, "Acca-Believe it." & my favorite "Acca-Awkward."
This craft was pretty simple and not really perfect (I do not normally free-hand cross stitch. Or cross stitch at all. Mostly just stitching on paper.), but I really like how it turned out. It's using a 6 inch hoop, linen & black stitching floss. It's sitting in my craft nook looking pretty cute.
Have you seen Pitch Perfect? What did you think of the movie?
