Jonny and I had an impromptu date night and overall ditching things we should probably do for some dinner and Ikea trip. Which ended up being totally worth it because we found a dresser in the as is section of Ikea that will be prefect for the nursery and almost half off!
So today I have some of my pins lately - food, inspiration and funnies. That's usually what I tend to pin and re-pin. ;)
One of my favorite sites to find recipes (and humor) is on How Sweet It Is. She has some amazingly good ideas and her photos make my mouth water. I want to try out this chili this fall. Too bad I can't pair a margarita to it because those limes are looking so good!
Can we just look at how adorable this baby and probably dad is?! AHH! I can't even believe I'm going to have one of those in less than 4 months. Freaking out over here!
Speaking of baby, I've been looking up ideas for the nursery to create a mood board of what I'm hoping the nursery will end up kinda looking like. And I am in LOVE with these gold polka dot sheets! I just found out that The Land of Nod has only one California store... and it's like 10 minutes away! Safe to say my husband is going to have to take my cards away because I can see myself spending way too much money there. But it's all just so cute!
I'm always on the look out for gift ideas and inspiration for Jonny. I like to think I'm a pretty good gift giver and I like to find unique things the receiver will love. Here's one item I found via Uncrate that sounds pretty interesting - it's shampoo "made with a combination of malt, brewer's yeast and orange zest for a subtle smell that will conjure memories of your favorite craft brewery." I'm going to keep any eye out for it and maybe use it as a stocking stuffer.
Another thing I'm always on the look out is craft inspiration. There are SO many neat ideas out there especially for this Fall season. I really like these votives and vase by Live Laugh Rowe and think they would look great on my table duirng the Fall season (once I put away my Halloween decor). Don't you? I plan on making them at my next craft party!
For those who follow me on Pinterest know that I can't go without pinning humours pins! This is one my latest ones, but you can find SOOO many more on there. ;)
I hope you have a great weekend and do something crafty!
