A whole entire week & I only took photos at my mom's house for Thanksgiving & our get-away honeymoon weekend. Kinda sad. But, it's what I've got. So.
I used Design A for the left page, a small brown bag full of Instax photos I found after I put together my pages & a standard 12 x 12" page for the right. I plan to go back & make a separate book for our honeymoon so I just did a little sneak of it for this book.
The left page has my Week Five title as well as the recap from the week. The only journaling I included was the picture of what I posted on Thanksgiving day on my Facebook. I used some of the fun sayings from the Studio Calico kit to add some sentiments to the pictures, as well as some teal colored letters I found in my stash.
The right page I used a sketch from Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch challenge for inspo. I still struggle with 12 x 12" layouts, so using sketches really helps get the creative juices flowing. I added 3 of my favorite photos from the weekend & used Amy Tangerine's month stamp to document the dates. I'm excited to have a free weekend (maybe in like, July? ay.) to put together our honeymoon album. I took a bunch of photos, Instax photos & raided pamphlets.
I've been really bad at looking through my "stuff to scrapbook" box & after I completed my page, I found these Instax photos from Thanksgiving! So, I sorted through my different bags and used this brown one. It had plenty of room for the photos and could punch holes. I used a strip of washi tape to reinforce the bag as well as a strip to tape on the tag with "instax." The bag is also large enough that I can fold the top over & they won't spill out everywhere.
Well, I am still 15 weeks behind, but I know I'll be coming up to some slower weeks soon & will be doing multiple weeks per layout. Are you doing Project Life? Have you been able to keep up?
