One upside about canceling my kit subscriptions is that I finally get to use the kits that have been piling up in my closet. I have so so so many kits, patiently waiting there for me to use them. I randomly pulled one of my stash - Six String. It was an add-on kit from like, 2 years ago. I thought the button cards were so cute and I had some left over Webster's Pages Family Tradition chipboard buttons from another project that matched perfectly.
I had some extra My Mind's Eye enamel dots laying around and I picked a couple ribbons from my stash. I added the Tim Holtz Memo Pins because I've never used them before and I have to use them at some point. I think they work well with the theme of the card! And I think the velum softens the card.
So, I'm trying to improve my photography. There's one spot in the house that works best around 3 pm. Of course it's right where the changing pad is for the baby, but I'll make it work. Plus, I take photos with my iPhone and the more natural light the better. I just need to figure out how to take better Project Life photos...
