Thanksgiving is going to be here next week, can you believe! November is flying by before we know it, Christmas is going to be here. And today marks my last month before maternity leave! In four weeks I get to start my leave and I'm getting excited! We're going to start the nursery next weekend and I'll be able to do some nesting and hopefully she doesn't come so early that I can get caught up on some Project Life. I'm seriously, so far behind... But back to this card! I liked the idea of making a wreath using fall leaves but I didn't have my Big Shot to use the Lawn Fawn dies, so I I stamped my own leaves instead!
I glued them in a circle and used some pop dots behind a few of the leaves to give it some dimension. I added some brown pearls and some ribbon to look like it was hanging from the top fo the card. It took some time to color in the leaves but I really liked how it turned out! It's simple, but I think draws a lot of attention with the colors. Plus, that lace ribbon is gorgeous!
