There's less than a week left to Halloween! :) I found this project idea online from eighteen25 and was really excited to make them. They're perfect for the season and easy to place on my picture shelves to avoid making unnecessary holes in the wall to display for only a short while. I followed their tutorial pretty closely, so head over to their blog to see how to make them. I did decide to make my own glittery clothespins, though. I already had mini clothespins so I painted on some wet glue and dipped in glitter. I really like the Stampin' Up! glitter because it's super fine and doesn't get everywhere when it's dry! Check them out here and here. My can of spray paint was kind of... special... so it wasn't spraying very evenly. But Jonny and I still really liked how they turned out. It was a bit of a pain trying to get the tights to stay in place and cut the edges so they didn't show very much, but in the end I really like them! It just takes a little patience and a couple sore fingertips from the hot glue. I added some leftover floral embellishments from my Candy Corn. I went through some old Halloween pictures and printed out a few of my favorites from the last couple years. I printed them out and clipped them on! What do you think? Would you make these? Supplies
embroidery hoops, black spray paint, Halloween tights, hot glue, mini clothespins, glitter (Stampin' Up!), pictures, Halloween themed flowers, plastic spider
