My CHA Experience - Day 1. Heh. I have ALWAYS wanted to go to CHA. A chance to see new product, make some make 'n takes, meet the designers and companies that inspire me and take all my money... Luckily, Day 1 was an ease into the weekend. I just had a 2 hour class by Hero Arts to show off some new product and new techniques using their product and I had a lot of fun!
The first picture above is a shot of the five cards we made in the class - super cute, right? The next photo to the left is my workstation that I luckily shared with my friend Robin (it was easy to split up the freebies that way since we have different styles) and the right photo are all the freebies that came with the class! Definitely got my money's worth! AND, I get a $50 wholesale voucher for more product. YAY!
Anywho, the class opened up with Hero Arts CEO Aaron Leventhal saying hello and welcoming us to the class. We then had three instructors show us how to make five different cards. It was a little rushed and a bit disorganized, but still a great class. I really liked a new technique we learned using their Daubers that I'll be purchasing in their new pastel colors!
Overall, it was a great class and looking forward to the rest of my CHA experience!
