I had a really nice time at my little craft party last Friday night. I was able to work on a few of my projects (didn't finish any, but I did get two out of the five I started finished by the end of the weekend) and spend time with friends. Probably the closest thing to a birthday party this year for me! Here are a few photos I remembered to take while everyone was working.
A few lessons learned from this craft party that I will make sure to remember for the next one... Smaller food table, bigger work space. Should have known better, but I guess I thought there would be enough room. Glitter not allowed near the couch or rug. Pretty self-explanatory. Thank goodness for lint rollers and vacuums. Re-arrange for more seating. Kind of going back to the first lesson but I will definitely set something up that will work better so people can sit closer and chit chat. Maybe get a few extension cords for glue guns. Know the color of a candy corn before gluing felt in place. Duh.
I can't wait to do it again! I'm thinking very early November for a Fall/Thanksgiving craft night!
