I have a lot of paper (which is probably an understatement). My "Christmas/Winter/New Years" box is getting a bit too full. Granted, most of it is Christmas stuff but I decided it was time to use up what was in the box on some New Years cards. Today's three cards are some of the ones I made using leftovers from Graphic 45's Place In Time collection. They are leftovers from a calendar I put together using the beautiful, vintage themed paper.
For these cards, I also didn't do any stamping (other than a New Years sentiment on the inside) which is sometimes difficult for me. I think of stamps, not necessarily just paper and embellishments. But I had a fun time laying out the different scraps and trying different layouts until I created cards I liked. I also pulled out any vintage looking embellishments (like the keyholes by Melissa Frances and ribbon) to add to the cards.
I think they turned out pretty cute! I have a couple more designs I used on New Years cards that I will show later this week. :) I don't typically make New Years cards (or if I do I combine them with my thank you's for Christmas) but It was fun to use up some paper and make more room for more! Hah. :)
