These pinwheels are leftover from my July 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit. I keep them in my summer holiday box because they're just so darn cute and will use them in different ways each 4th of July until I run out. Last year I made pinwheels on straws and this year pinwheel treat bags. I filled the treat bags with some patriotic goldfish crackers, sealed the bag closed with some washi tape and used the little paper clip from the kit to layer everything together. I steamed two of the stamps from the kit in Real Red and Night of Navy. I stamped off the red stars once to get a lighter look to layer better with "celebrate" in blue. Love these pinwheels. If you don't have leftovers from last year's kit, you can easily make these by making your own pinwheels. They're pretty easy to freehand, but here's a couple templates for you if you need a little help. The left is a .studio file for those with a Silhouette machine and the right is a PDF you can print. :)
Happy Independence Day!
XO. Lauren
