Time for another Iron Craft Challenge! The latest challenge was to craft something green or "green." I went with the color rather than re-/up-cycling (even though I did use some scraps to stamp the sentiment).
I think I've had the green, plaid paper for two years now? I used it to make a banner a couple years ago and I had a bunch left over. I'm trying to be better about not buying new product until I use up what I have with holidays. I have a TON of Halloween and Christmas... But anywho. I used the plaid paper, Stampin' Up! cardstock, a cute shamrock brad, gold airmail washi and then colored in the cute Lawn Fawn leprechaun using my Letraset markers.
I am still mastering the art of alcohol markers, but I am really quite pleased how adorable he came out! I FINALLY bought the right paper for alcohol markers and that really made a difference. I originally saw the idea to turn the gnome into a leprechaun here.
Have you done any crafting for St. Paddy's Day?
PS. You can see all of the entries into all of the Iron Craft Challenges here.
