Look what I made! Haha, my ornament from "last year." I mean, it was last year's design... Just made a little later. :) I cut out the pinecone leaves using my Silhouette (are they called leaves?) and hot glued them around and around on a styrofoam egg. I'm not sure how many it took, I lost count over time. But I started from the point of the egg/pinecone and worked around to the top/wider end.
I cut up some cinnamon sticks and some strands from a fake pine garland and wrapped the garland piece around the stick. I also cut out these little tags using my Silhouette and cut some pieces of Christmas Divine Twine. After looping the tag through the string, I put a large drop of glue on the top of the pinecone, put the ends of the twine (to create a loop) and then the end of the stick and press down so the garland gets a little glue on it, too.
These ornaments are so cute, but take a lot gluing and time. I hope you make one, but just be aware these things take some time if you're going to make 13. :)
