Easter is seriously early this year. I finished my St. Patrick's Day cards and then immediately starting thinking of Easter cards. But thanks to Pinterest, I am able to keep my Easter ideas all in once place. Here's a look at my board:
I did purchase a really cute Easter set at the Lawn Fawn Birthday Party on Saturday. So I opened them up, stamped and started coloring. I really wasn't sure what I was going to do with them yet, but I just couldn't wait to color in those cute eggs! Once I had my little critters and eggs colored, I cut them out, grabbed a doily, paper and a tag. Here is what I came up with
Cute, right? I water colored on the tag, stamped the grass from the Gnome Sweet Gnome set and stamped the Happy Easter sentiment and hop lines from Happy Easter. I tied a knot using the twine from the tag and glued all of the layers onto an A2 card. Using dimensionals, I adhered the critters and the eggs. I felt like the card was missing something, so I used a Stampin' Up! marker in the same color as the A2 card (Primrose Petals) to add some faux stitching. I think it all comes together quite lovely!
Are you getting ready for Easter?
