When I printed out and trimmed all of my photos for Week 3, I noticed that there was a lot of oranges, red & browns going on. I remembered that I had some old Crate Paper that would be perfect. This week, friends that I've met through Jonny (Dave & Rachel) put on their 3rd annual Friendsgiving. It's been fun being a part of all three events but this is the first one I've scrapbooked.
From the paper & embellishments, I made my week title, backgrounds for photos that were smaller than the pockets, my Friendsgiving tag & my weekly recap. My first page was pictures I had from events that week.
I really like using washi tape on photos, it doesn't distract too much from the photo but a great way to add a little more.
I like the mix of typing & handwriting. I think I will buy some small labels to have ready to type on & stick to photos or journal cars.
Bah. This photo came out blurry and now it's dark outside. Forgive me.
I tried a new thing I've seen on other folks' Project Life. Printing out large photos to take up more than one slot. The bottom photo is of a panoramic shot of everyone in the tent. The photo on the top right came out a bit funky. I printed it how I thought it would fit, but it didn't. So, it doesn't line up perfect... But, I achieved the look I was going for. I'm anxious to try it again.
That photo is MUCH better. I made my week title & this tag with the Friendsgiving title the same to tie it all together.
Week 3! Done! :) I posted a video on Vine with a short overview of how I put my weeks together. Check it out here:
