Every once in a while I get a layout or two that I'm just not into. Maybe it was a poor color choice or too many photos or it's all just too busy. Well, that's what happened for Weeks 19 and 20. Just something about them doesn't flow well. But I've already added stickers and cut the photos. So, it is what it is. However, there were couple things that I liked about the layouts I made using Studio Calico's Toe Stop Add-On Kit and I'm sharing them today.
I really loved this design on the patterend paper and decided to make it overlap to 3 different spaces. I added some embellishments and the word "enjoy" to give it more dimension and statement. I loved how it turned out, but I think it took up too much space when I had too many photos. I'll try this idea again on a week I don't have a lot of photos to scrapbook.
My favorite from the two weeks was Week 20's title card! I love the paper and the embellishments and it just turned out really fun. Too bad it's the only part of the whole layout I like. I don't think I'm going to scrap anymore with this kit and just make some cards from the rest of the paper and embellishments. I think the colors just don't match my photos for this season.
Have you run into problems like this? You create a layout but can't really change it without printing new photos and starting all over? What do you do?
