My brother is probably one of the biggest baseball fans around. Especially of the Dodgers. So when I was able to throw him a baby shower, I knew I had to make it baseball themed! Pinterest was definitely my friend when planning this shower out - it helped me brainstorm what I wanted to use to theme the shower as well as food and snacks to serve. Of course I tried to make everything my own and tweak it with ideas I thought could make it more my style.
Most of the supplies came from Walmart, Target and Amazon while the baseball plates and platters my mom picked up (I think) from Party City.
Food for the party were hot dogs with so many topping options like avocado, chili, bacon, cheese... Nachos with a homemade cheddar nacho cheese, green salad (which somehow I avoided) and fruit salad.
Snacks were Red Vines, sunflower seeds, peanuts, Cracker Jacks and Big League Chew. We had cupcakes and cake pops for dessert.
We played three games, too! One was wearing a little, baseball keychain tied around your neck and you couldn't say baby or cross your legs. If someone caught you, they got your keychain! We played a bottle chugging game with 4 oz of water in baby bottles. And lastly we played a "guess the baby food" game where everyone had to try five different baby foods and figure out what they were. So fun!
Winners got a baseball mason jar filled with Baby Ruth mini candy bars and a $5 gift card. Overall it was so fun and I loved every minute of planning and making the decorations!
